I just called CIC and found my card has been sent to production. Not sure how long it will take to mail it back.
I just called them today as well and found out my card was sent to production. I landed Aug 20 and my next international trip will take place in 7 days. I am getting very anxious now.
Getting pr card in seven days has a very little chance. We don't know when it will get mailed. If it gets mailed out on Monday you should be good I think.
Yes for now best thing I can hope is that the card will be mailed out on Monday otherwise I will have to return from US by private vehicle. If that's the case I will have to revise my trip plan and rebook the ticket. This is really frustrating.
I got my PR card in the mail today so it took around 4 days to arrive, It was sent from Sydney Nova Scotia as I thought not from Ottawa as you said
I received a correspondence letter in my CIC portal. Did anyone receive the same? It just says application was received on 10th Aug and in in process ..

A word of advice when submitting photos for COPR or PR Card. NO SMILE, not even a rictus and NO PHOTOSHOP, the photo needs to be as neutral as possible, most of the photographers can handle the dimensions and the measures within the photos but the smile is a no go. You smile, they will ask you for another set of photos,
(this one doesn't count).

Of course you can't smile or photoshop, they already say that in their instructions, you gotta follow the instructions or else your card will be delayed and you'll be asked for another setHello all,

Also you should take your photos with a professional commercial photographer so they get the measurements 100% right because PR photos are examined by a machine not a person and that machine can detect any small faults
Same as our case. Mine was not mailed because there was no valid address keyed for my application . I had to get it updated by calling CIC. Wait till Monday if you still don't see any update call CIC and check. Don't wait for too long..

Thanks. Will wait till tomorrow. Ideally, I should not have address issue as my address should be same as what was filled in PR application. But I will give a call if no movement happens.
Even for me it was the same address as PR application, but if Landing officer didn't enter the address while landing then you might not have one on your PR card application. For my husband and Son, the address was entered. mine it was missed and I had to get it updated. I have seen many with same issue.
