I think they are approving applications in bulk so that's why there are no updates in between but when they update almost everyone with ghost update gets the approved status
Congrats..Card Received today
Nothing will happen, If u lost it, you can apply again. Your COPR will be valid till 1 year after arrival. You already became a permanent resident. After saw these posts... I guess I am completely freaked out now... I have a really bad feeling ... if it got lost, how am I going to replace it?
But I am not in Canada right now...and how am I going to re-apply out of the country ...Nothing will happen, If u lost it, you can apply again. Your COPR will be valid till 1 year after arrival. You already became a permanent resident.
You are clearly overthinking this. But I am not in Canada right now...and how am I going to re-apply out of the country ...
You can enter Canada by using Permanent Resident Travel Document(PRTD). You can get it online. But I am not in Canada right now...and how am I going to re-apply out of the country ...

It’s done automatically by the CBSA officer at airport so no need to submit anythingHello everyone,
I completed my landing last week. For the first PR card, do I need to submit an application or does it happen automatically? I assumed the latter but feeling a bit confused after reading posts here. How do you then track issuing of the card? Thank you for your insight!!!
