Thanks!

But since out of the 2 photos submitted during copr, one is on the copr and the other returned, based on which photo do they process the PR card? Is it based on the one in copr that we hand over to them during landing (the IRCC copy)?

I have the same question. In my case they stamped the photo without the details to the COPR, which is the same photo the immigration officer took during my Landing.

How will they know if it was taken less than 6 months ago?

basicaly you will receive a photo resubmission mail. trust me... you will receive it based on you landing date.if you have any doubt you can call them and verify. they need 2 fotos. n because we have only one left after using the other on copr, thats the reason they request for resubmission. this is what i have understood.

So, can we provide the agents (during landing) with 2 recent photos then? Do they accept it?
Basically I am looking at reducing the PR card processing time since I have a planned international travel in 3 months time and if they request for photos usually the processing time jumps to almost 4 months!!

am stuck in the same boat. for me my issue was i had landed on dec 8th. received my photo submission req on jan 17th . the email went to spam. never checked. once realized the delay . checked and understood the issue . too late by then, my photos reached only by feb 25th. and i need to exit canada by march 14th. so technically am in a pickle. hopin that the backlog is less so they can fly through jan and feb

Hi guys, landed on Jan. 22nd and still waiting for PR card.
I provided the address to CIC after 2 weeks post landing (so didnt provide address at the airport) as we were in Airbnb and only moved to our new apartment after 2 weeks.
Anyone on the same boat?

I landed on 22nd as well, A CEC inland. Nothing has changed yet. It seems they have not started for 22nd Jan Application.
