Hello everyone,
For those of you who have already done your landing, can you please tell me how long you waited to get an appointment from the time you emailed the IRCC?
I emailed the IRCC on November 26 and was told I would hear back within 30 days. Still haven’t heard back so I’m getting a bit nervous as we are approaching the 30 days mark soon. I need to travel to the U.S. in the beginning of April and am nervous I will not have my PR card by then.
Also, am I able to bring two new passport photos with my to the IRCC interview in order to save some waiting time?
Thank you in advance for your time.
Best of luck to all!

Landed: Oct 5(Vancouver)

Best of luck and Happy new year guys.

Timeline:
Landed: Oct 11 (Toronto)
Ghost Update (self) : Dec 4
Photo Request (Spouse): Dec 5
Approved (self): Dec 11
Photos Delivered (spouse): Dec 12
PR Card Received (Self):: Dec 14 (Toronto)

For spouse - we sent two sets of photographs from two different photo studios. Hopefully we don't get another request. From current timeline it looks like we will not get an update before Feb 15.
Did you use Canada Post or courier? And which address??

If you don't see any update, raise a priority service request as the document has sensitive information. It will speed up the process. Tried and tested.
Finally got my card in hand yesterday. Thanks

Land Oct. 24
Ghost update, Dec. 14
Approved: Dec. 18

Hope to receive it before Christmas if Canada post works well.

Good luck everyone!

So amazing! Congrats, I know mine it’s going to arrive after holidays, hopefully no more than ends of January. What’s your landing date?

Hi Folks,
I landed on Dec 9th on Surrey, BC border by car. I have my tickets booked to travel to India on evening of Jan 31st.
Current processing time is showing 54 days. I am hopeful of card arriving by that time.
Can someone please suggest following:

1-Realistically, when can I expect my card to arrive?
2-Is entry by land any faster/slower than processing time shown on CIC website?
3-What is the estimate time to get travel document from VFS new delhi. I did some research and found timeline all the way fro 5 days to 1 month. Any one has recent experience can share?
