Does the “ghost update” means that you received an email from the cic saying that “application is updated” is that it? Thanks a lot!

No email, I checked it on my cic account and it showed updated but that was for a moment it went back to submited again on July 27 until August 2nd when it changed to approved

Hi Chaaya,
Avg processing time is 64 days for those who have all the docs in places.
Those whose photos are older than six months or not as per the specs receive Photo request, and this delays the process further. Once the photos are delivered, it takes more of 40 days to get the card delivered.

As per recent trends, I have noticed that the process has become faster for the photo request and people are getting updates in just two weeks. And more ten days in approval and delivery. But to be honest, there is no defined timeline.
