My relatives received the mail yesterday, and sent me a scanned copy of the letter the same day.
I dispatched the photographs (with a copy of the letter) via express mail, which should hopefully reach its destination in a weeks time. Fingers crossed. My wife's photographs apparently reached there yesterday afternoon.

When it goes to “application approved” that means it is done and out in the mail/Post.

Update on my PR Card application

Landed: March 31, 2018
Approved: May 16, 2018

Yet to receive the card, hopefully by early next week.

@Emily89 I sent my pictures on May 1st too, reached them on 7th(sent through Xpresspost and signed by CHRISH DS or someone).

Do you know if they accepted your pictures? When did your pictures reach them? We will share a similar timeline.

My Canada post man was weird... he pointed to the tracking number but when i typed it in it came up with not found... So i have no idea when they received them but i will just go off by what you have said. YES lets stick together! haha. We will get through this! I already had to change my trip i had booked Out like $1,200 because of whatever reason the silly photos weren't accepted, but whatever! I just want my dam card

Which address did you send to? as the CIC Agent advised me to send to 1 of these 2 addresses which depend on my method.

If you would like to have proof that your photos were received, you may use registered or express mail with Canada Post or a courier service such as Purolator, UPS, FedEx, etc. Please instruct the courier service to use this address:

I sent it through Canada Post to the first address. I hope that's right!
Well on my letter i received that was the only address listed. I've never seen the other one.

Guys when my copr came back i noticed the visa office screwed up my photos, it had traces of left-over glue!

What should i do?

If your pictures are fine with them and not requested again.. then you should expect it within a week or ten days (going by the trend we are seeing right now) .

I landed on 7th April at YYZ from Abu Dhabi and I'm expecting it by end of this month (if pictures are fine and not requested again)

I noticed that my PR card application status changed from Submitted to Updated today, but no new message or anything. Does this mean that the application has started to be processed??

I noticed this change on my application last Friday (and reverted to Submitted once I clicked on 'Read') but no update since then. Please do confirm here once your status changes, hopefully to approved.
