Hope they will process it very fast. I have an upcoming trip coming outside Canada in May :(

Landed at March 10. My wife received her PR card last Friday.
But I didn't, my account still shows in process. I am the main applicant.
Called cic, they said still in process, what should I do, so worried.
ha ha.. this is funny.

But wait.. I am sure your must be delivered in few weeks hopefully. .

If you guys have a work visa with an expiry date in the future and it doesn't have a cancelled stamp on it, you can use that for travel. I have done it myself more than twice now. When you're checking in to your flight, just open your passport to the work visa page and hand it over to them that way they won't be looking through your passport. Also do the same when boarding the flight. Just don't give them a closed passport. In my case, my passport is pretty full so they don't spend time on looking through visas.

Also, when you arrive at Immigration at the airport, just show them the CoPR and that should be good enough.

My timeline

Landed at Surrey BC: 16th March
Approved today

Expect your PR card delivered within 3-4 business days on your given postal address. Same happened to 3 of my family members. Awaiting for my son's now.

No PR Cards have arrived to this day. *What numbers do I press to get to an Agent?* I have called EVERYDAY and the calls get cut off...... I also did up the web form and no response....

Landed March 07, 2018.

3/4 family members:
  • PR Card application Approved: April 23
  • PR cards received: April 26

1/4 family members (my son):
  • PR Card application: Submitted (no change since I linked all 4 applications on April 21).
  • No photo request has been received via mail or email for my son.
  • It's not been 57 days yet (the average processing time for first time PR card).

Has anyone else faced similar scenario? Thanks.
I had a similar problem, I called them before the 57 days and realized they had the wrong mailing address for my daughter as well as incorrect email address where they had sent a request for new photos. The agent corrected the information and sent me an email with the request to send new photos for her. Photos are expected to be delivered today, so hopefully it won’t take long for her to get her card as well.

I would suggest calling them at 8am Eastern time to find out if there is a problem with your son card status.

Hi, you have to just keep trying, it took me two days to get through. It kept saying they are busy and can’t connect me to an agent. 8am Toronto time is usually the time most people get lucky in getting through.
