Dear All,
I did my landing in Toronto on 15 July 2017, since then I am waiting for my PR card without receiving any, it is almost 90 days now while they say the processing time as per IRCC is 61 days, I linked myCIC to my application and the status showing there that my PR application is under processing I sent case specific inquiry to IRCC but no feedback received, is this normal or I should start worrying?

Basically if you want to track your PR card after completing the landing process you will need to go to your MyCIC account and there will be an option there after you sign in. Choose link your application and choose PR card. You will need to fill in some info for it to search for it. Usually the one that works in using the UCI and Last name. Fill it it according to your COPR. If all matches up you then get updates on your MyCIC re your PR card process. From my experience it started off as saying submitted and then when the PR cards were approved it just changed to approved. An email was sent to me the day after to check MyCIC. Hope that helps.

Also it would be a good idea to call CIC and check with them when it's closer to the 61 day mark to ensure there's no outstanding status on your file.

Just received my PR card yesterday!

Here's the timeline:

Aug 15 - landed
Oct 5 - PR card approved online
Oct 10 - PR card received

The processing time was 61 days when I landed, but it came a week early. Thanks for all the support from you guys, hope everyone's PR card gonna arrive very soon!

Guys i am not able to link my PR card application to mycicaccount. Every time i try to search with my UCI number it say no application found. Any one have similar issue ?

I recently linked it.. I tried everyday with different combinations.. nothing worked.. Landed June 7th. Photo retake request Aug 2nd. Photos received by CIC 10th Aug. able to link my application only september last week!

Hello everyone,

I landed at Sarnia, ON border on Sept 16.Today when i logged in mycic and checked my linked pr card applications - I saw a status change in Review of additional documents.
It changed from " We do not need additional documents" to "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded."

My Background check is still "Not applicable"

Can anyone suggest what this change in Additional doc status implies (I just hope they don't require photos again). Thanks

I did landing on 2nd Jul. Photos were requested on 23-Aug and were dispatched subsequently; received at Nova Scotia on 29th Aug. I linked my application to MYCIC and the status shows as "Submitted". Does it mean that mine and my family's (we are a family of four, 2 kids, my wife and myself) cards are under printing? I haven't called or written to CIC yet. Your valuable comments are requested.

my photos were received by them yesterday 05/10/17 (sent by courier from home country). I thought I would get an update when they receive them.

Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed

The above update has been there since two or three days before the photo request letter.

My photos were received by CIC on the 10th Aug. Apparently they are still processing July 27th as per CIC call centre agent!

Do you get a confirmation after they receive the photos. Any idea how much time does it take to receive the PR Card after they receive my photos?

My spouse new photo received 28 Aug. Still waiting for update.
No, your card and family's aren't in production yet. CIC still working on photo request received on July.
We still have a month of endless wait.

You need to send a new set of photos with the correct specifications.
No confirmation upon receipt on CIC's part it's either you check the tracking number or call them. You can also check your MyCIC account for update.
Furthermore, it'll take 2 more months wait to receive the card.

I think the best way is to drop them a call and see if there's any update they can see in their system although they only prefer you call if you dont get your card in the 61 days time frame. But if you speak nicely to them and say you have been reading abt problems with photographs you just wanted to check with them. Good luck.
