1) go to cic online account
2) select option link other application
3) provide UCI number and last name
4) provide full name as indicated on passport
5) search and you shoild
So you mean instead of giving just the family name, i add my full name? I've maxed out my number of trials for the next 24 hours.. will again tomorrow!

I also used my 5 attempts up yesterday. I'm getting the impression that you do not need to answer all of the questions, despite the fact that the system asks for the answers - so you just enter your name and UCI, not the PR date, country of birth, etc. Can anybody comment?

Also, if it is the case that the system doesn't want the family name, despite asking for it, in what way should the name be set out? John Smith? Smith, John? My surname and first name are separate items in my passport.

Hard to belive this crap system is only 2 years old...

wait, do i have to send pictures for PR card? Where are people checking the status of the card processing? I landed on September 10th

FYI to all.. I had similar frustration trying to find and add my PR card application. It worked when i entered my place of birth as it was on the passport. On the passport it said "city_name, state_name". All this time I was using just the name of the city and it never worked.

No, you will only need to input your last name(family name). The options you have to enter depends on the choice of ID you chose. I chose UCI and was asked last name, place of birth, country of birth, date of landing etc.

The comma thing i mentioned earlier in my post is in regards to place of birth only. For eg if your COPR mentions your place/city of birth as - abc, xyz then you have to enter it exactly same while linking your application. Also, I entered all the fields asked for but many of the fields were grayed out.

Regarding name it asked me only for the last name so I entered only last name and not first name.

Hello all,
I linked my pr card with the profile yesterday. The status says SUBMITTED and in the additional documents tab, it reads- the additional document you provided has been uploaded .
I landed on July 25th.
Any idea by when my Pr card will come?

I would suggest you to call CIC.. they might request you for photos! Same has happened with many in earlier posts.

Finally! Card approved today! Landed July 18.
