no new photo request. just no communication from IRCC after i landed (flagpolled at niagara)

by the way....would you guys be able to guide me where to call/email to followup on my PR card? apologies if it has been tackled in the earlier pages, but going thru 200 pages is really difficult. thanks!!!
That's strange. You should have received the cards by now even after if the photos were requested.
You should definitely call IRCC and get the status of your PR card application.

IRCC/CIC
1-888-242-2100 (Within Canada)
Speed dial (2-3-2-0) for PR card.

Thank you! i just called them and they told me they need new pictures....seriously....after 4 months before they tell me. they wouldnt even tell me if I hadnt called? and whats worse is they told me they are only processing photos as of Jun 7th at the moment....that means i'll have to wait in line again even when i landed way earlier than everyone.

do you guys know how long does it take to wait for the PR cards after new photos have been provided?

That's good you got updated on your status and they didn't ask you to re-file (file a new application) your PR card application and pay for the same. Because usually when the mail comes for photo request it includes a warning/condition to submit the photos before period of 30 days or you have to start a new PR card application.

After the photo submission, it takes around 6-8 weeks before you get the card (this is what IRCC says but I have been hearing it from last 2 months)

In my case I got photos requested on 10th July and the photos were delivered on 14th July. Since then I am awaiting update on my file (they even don't have update on the photos delivery)

Earlier when I called IRCC they said that they were processing photo request application of 25th June, but when I called next they changed the date to 5th June. But now you confirmed that they are processing photo request application of 7th June. So again it could take more time at least a month or so for my application and at least 2 months for your application. Patience is difficult to hold and there is no other option but to wait.

I could give you a trick. Make a travel plan, book the air tickets and send them a letter requesting urgent processing.

It is their official operational bulletin which can process your card quickly. Obviously the travel plan should be genuine.

In my case, because it was urgent processing they used this exception for my card:

"In cases where requesting new photos may cause undue hardship to the applicant (e.g., refugees who have already submitted photos compliant with the former specifications and for whom requesting new photos could delay resettlement) or may otherwise unduly delay finalization of an application, it may be appropriate to use the photos already on file, which are compliant with the former specifications, when preparing the COPR."

Read this operational bulletin on their website on how they treat photos for PRC: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2015/ob540B.asp

Now it makes sense why they asked me for new photos but used my old photos after reading my letter.

I got my PR card today :) It was approved on MyCIC on 23. august. Good luck to everyone! My PR journey is finally over :D

Got my PR card today, landed 28June. My spouse's new photo was also received today. I hope it won't take another 2 months wait. It's really hard to track photo resubmission timeline of other member unless they post their update here.

Thanks for the info. I guess there's no other option but to wait.

Landed in Canada: 17 Jun
Came back to my home country: 28 Jun
Applied for PRTD: 13 July
PRTD stamped: 27 July
Used web form for updating of address for PR card delivery: Twice
PR card dispatched: 14 August

However, what has happened is that my PR card has been dispatched to the hotel address where I was staying initially. This address I had given in the PRTD application form, not sure why they picked this address for PR card delivery.

Had tried updating address via link 'https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=coanotify', however my details were never found. As my details were not found, twice filled the web form for updating of address. However, as we do not get any confirmation was not sure whether address was updated or not.
Also, status of my card in CIC account is still 'Submitted'.
As of now the card has not reached the hotel address(two days back)
Can anyone tell me about a reliable courier service(in Saskatoon) who can pick and deliver the card for me.

Mine was approved last Wednesday, I received email on the 25th - Thursday. when do i expect it ? any idea? I am staying in TORONTO
