Today morning when I checked my PR card application in My CIC account and I saw that the status of my application got approved.

Then I called CIC to know whether they have dispatched my card or not so CIC agent confirm that today only they have dispatched my PR card to my home address . Expecting it to delivered in next couple of days.

i have been checking my mailbox daily these days, haven't received anything yet, did you receive yours ?

Why do so many people have their photos rejected?? where did you guys take the photos? at home?

God knows! No, in fact the best photographer in Toronto (A1 studios)! Maybe because I hadn't written my date of birth on the reverse side of the photo at the time of sending the passport and photos. But then why would they not flag it at the time of issuing the CoPR or even the landing. This is so bloody annoying. I have to change my flight ticket and incur additional costs.

Well it's a good learning experience, I guess. Lol

Hello guys,
I am in a situation here and need ur advise. I landed on 21st june, but due to non availablity of adress with me my PR card was not processed at airport. Hence i was given adress notification form with consists of the instructions to notify adress to CIC in 2 ways as below:

1. Update the adress through CIC website using the personal information such as UCI number, name etc.--
Probem is that I TRIED THIS OPTION BUT THE WEBSITE IS NOT PICKING MY DETAILS, IT IS SHOWING AS INCORRECT.

2. I sent the filled form to CIC through FAX but i am not sure that they have received it and processed my PR card.

3. I called CIC agent but they are not updating me for anything.

4. I raised Case specific enquiry for the same but i have still not received reply from CIC since 10 days.

I dont know what should i do. I need my card my September end as i have to travel back home for important work. Its already 40 days since i landed but there ia no whereabout of my card.

Kindly advise.

what if I use my Work visa? I do not have my work permit anymore though..
the trick is to board the plane at San Fran. otherwise I can always fly to Buffalo and drive across. Right?

Do you know what the processing time is once you send the photos again? Is it less than 4 weeks, then I'll be fine!

Work visa will be cancelled after landing as permanent resident. You may not be issued boarding pass at San Francisco since your visa would be shown up as invalid in their system.

You can always drive across the border into Canada with COPR.

I did....15th of June and application should be processed since landing day...Still waiting as status on GCKEY is under process till now ...

I landed on 13th June. I called CIC today but customer care agent was not helpful.
She said current processing time is 61 days and you should receive by that time.

So just waiting for this last stage of the process

Called IRCC today. Came to know that they are processing photo request application of 21st June

I landed on 5th May and had my photos requested on 10th July which were delivered on 14th July. According to IRCC I should be receiving the PR cards in 3 weeks time that's end of August

This is weird. I called them more than a week ago and they informed my PR card was approved and sent to production. I landed on June 22nd.
Unless they only check the photos during the production process...

I landed on June 2 and didnt recieve photo request and havent received my card. Can I assume my photo is good ? given its already August

Ensure you are entering birth place details correctly. Most of us faced similar issues. Details has to match with COPR. Hope it helps
