@Shaznaz: hopefully we get it by next week... IRCC agent said its been mailed out and who knows whats causing the delay
whats your itinerary ? are you landing in Canada by air (or any commercial carriers like bus, boat ?) then you got a problem.
If you haven't booked return ticket, then my advice is to land in USA and enter Canada by road (rental/own/friend`s car work) and in the border you show your CoPR document that is what I did in Feb`2017 ;D I am presuming that you have valid US B1/B2 visa.. I was grilled in India (New Delhi exit) but my entry to US & Canada was smooth just basic questions asked !! hope this helps

No I don't have a US visa so won't be able to come via US and I am coming back to Canada on april 16th, worse case scenario I leave then I'll have someone courier it to me.

yea ! sure thing good luck. We all hope it should come early next week ! the agent was surprised when I said mine din`t arrive till Friday Mar 24 2017

My lawyer has received my PR card this morning - just in time to catch my Thursday flight.

Possible to apply for PR card upon arrival, travel out of the Canada after couple of weeks and give a local address so someone else can receive on your behalf? Do i have to be present until the processing is complete, say 100 days?

You don't have to be present until pr card is received. Your way works, just make sure you have your pr card in hand by the time you return to Canada (unless you return by a private car).

Mine was posted March 14th haven`t received it yet. IRCC agents have no clue, they said we have mailed it out & we need minimum of 6 weeks to know if the mail was returned to us

if you want to come to Canada and since you are outside of Canada you can apply for Permanent Resident Travel document ! http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/
