Call CIC. if card go to production, it takes one week to mailed. Thats the small statistics found this forum

Guys, one more information that I can add here is - it may happen that CIC has sent you an email asking for new photographs as the current ones do not match their specification, BUT YOU MAY NOT HAVE RECEIVED THE EMAIL. One option is to check your spam mails. If you are sure you havent received an email, you can then call the CIC helpline - if CIC has asked for new photos, they will send you the email again.

I landed on Dec 13th and waiting for the PR card still, does anyone here know if there is a way to access the Canada post tracking# for the PR Card. According to the processing page wait time is 56 days which passed for me last week.

do we get an email or phone call (highly doubt so) when the card is mailed out? or is it just a pleasant surprise any day/time?

The processing time has been reduced to 49 days. For checking the status of card you can call 1-888-242-2100.

I made a mistake, i booked my plane ticket for Feb 18th, I feel like to re-book again but thats a loss of money.
Can any one advise?

Hi,
you can expect the PR card in your mail this or next week (I would say waiting time is about 60 days). No email or phone call before that just as you've mentioned 'a pleasant surprise'.
