Jan 3rd Landed at local CIC office, still waiting for PR Card

The PR application take too long and I haven't taken any vacation yet, so I decided to take a vacation after I got my PR Card
I called CIC last week, they said I should get my card early March, so what is the best time for me to book a Air ticket?
After my card under production or when cic mailed my card out?
Thanks :)

I'd play it safe and book once you have the card - they can get delayed, lost, have an error etc. Maybe go on a local holiday if possible in the meantime?

Once you land, do you have to be physically in Canada until you receive the PR card or you can leave? (The idea is to send the PR card to a relative's address)

Hi,
you don't need to be physically in Canada after landing. A relative's address is an usual option for the people traveling out of Canada after landing.

I landed on 19th Nov and my cards were mailed on 20th January, not at home so haven't received them yet. They'll be in my mailbox, so won't know exactly when it was delivered.

Cheers. :)
