Is there any news for guys who landed mid-October?? Please keep us updated.

Getting an error! I am not able to check the status on ECAS. I believe new residents cannot check status of PR card online. We can find out only by calling CIC.

Hello SS66,

I phoned CIC yesterday, on their answering machine they are saying anything AFTER 14 October 2016 has not yet been processed, and they are also saying it is taking 45 days.

But on the website it says 41 days.......so may be the extra 4 days are meant to cover for any delays, I don't know.

They said I need to phone them back only after 41 days, so this coming Friday I am phoning them again

Let's hope for the best guys,

Hi guys,

Just a quick update to everybody.......I just spoke to a very helpful agent at CIC a few minutes ago. She went into my profile and she checked......she said my PR card was dispatched yesterday, 21 November 2016 to my Canada address.

I am praying I receive it intact in a few days.....once I physically receive it, I will still update you all.....

I also called today and was told my card was mailed out yesterday, not sure about my spouse's card ...

I also called CIC yesterday, as I'm leaving on Dec 7th, I'm a bit worried not to have received my PR card by then.
The agent was pretty confident I'd receive it by then, he told me that PR card are even printed on Saturday.
For your information, yesterday Nov 22th, CIC has finished working with the new photos request from Nov 2nd.

I landed on the 14th of Nov....guessing mine will get pushed to Jan due to xmas holidays....any one else with Nov landing
