Did anyone get there photos taken at London Drugs and get them rejected as I know LD have a special machine. mine got taken many times due to issues with shine/glare on my forehead.

Last I heard my card is in production from CIC so is that a good sign? I could ring them again this week as it should be mailed this week (over the 41 days of processing time)...

when I resubmit my photos, I took it at London drug, and my forehead is also too shinning. But lucky they provide makeup, guess many people have the same issue. Good news is that I just called CIC and my card was mailed on Monday. Since I am in BC, it probably gonna take 5-7 business day to be here... When i first call CIC, the agent told me my application is still in process and didn't get to the production process before I got photo retaken email. Since yours is in production, i think your photos should be alright...

And yes, call CIC. at least you will have a peaceful mind... and I dont think you can totally depend on CIC, if you know what i mean.

Hey guys..my wife's card came in the mail today!!!

That's good news indeed. My new photo was delivered on 5th Aug by Canada post, so hopefully I will get good news soon

It is all so random!

I called CIC yesterday and they mentioned that they will not tell me any update till it is not 30 days from the day photos were received. It is so so sad that we are being made to go through all this. I am afraid they will come back after 30 days that the photos are not right and please resend.

Hmm, i have that fear as well. We both took the new photos at London drugs, so i would be really upset if they did not accept my photos.

One Of my Friend had similar issue. CIC asked him to send new Photos after two months of wait without much explanation. Hope this will be one in thousands

Finally I got my all pr cards.
Landed 19th june with a family of 4.
Got 2 pr cards on 2nd Aug and got to know about photo requests of remaining 2 on enquiry by phone.Got email for my photo request on 2nd Aug. My pics reached cic on 5th Aug(forgot to include letter but my details were mentioned on envelope) and my son's reached on 8th Aug (as they told later about my son's pic request on further enquiry by phone.Actual request reached by mail on 12th Aug due to lack of email address of our son)
Got my pr card on 23rd and for my son on 25th August
My advice to every1 is to call cic after the time frame for pr card production reached and follow up them with calls until you get your pr cards as they are really slow most of the time to send photo requests if any error in them and waste lots of time
