No one received PR card after June 24 .... ???

Yes , there is some kind of delay . Did they hand over the card to canada post ? or just mark in the system as sent keeping it in their warehouse, expecting the postal strike.

God my photo i gave during passport submission was looking crazy, as we had to take it in the booth the VFS officce had. Can i submit another photo for my PR card?

I'd recommend not as even if they accept a new photo you'll go back to the back of the queue I believe (based on people who had new photos requested).
Plus, they have your photo on the CIC copy of the COPR, I'd say you're in for a lot of trouble and delay trying to do this :(

As long as it looks sufficiently like you I'd live with it. You only need it to re-enter the country with a passport and occasionally for things like visas.

You'll have to change it when you renew or get a passport anyway, so it's only for 5 years.

The ans I expected to clear my croaky mind!!! Thanks a lot!!

CIC call agents are totally different. One of them sent a note to the office. Another suggested that he did not and a note should not be sent anyway. The third said that the note was sent but he should not have sent it that early (it has been 75 days since landing).

The card is still processing and they can not do anything.

Do you think it would help doing a CSE through the webform to the respective office. They generally take those seriously and respond although it takes a while. Might not hurt to send one anyways considering you have been waiting this long.

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me with their expert opinion. So, my wife has a visitor visa to canada valid till August. She landed on May 15th and her 54 days got over last week. Till now, no update from IRCC and status shows under processing. We leave for a trip to US next week and will be back beginning of Aug (when visitor visa would still be valid).

If PR Card does not get delivered before we leave for US, can someone here courier it to us in US? Has it been done before and is it safe to do so?

Answers would be much appreciated. Thank you !

Cheers !
