Ok. When did CIC receive your photos? CIC received mine on April 25th. So I think i will be hitting the 2 month mark by 3rd week of June as well.

They received my photos on the April 20th.

Oh , i never knew that . i was thinking they have the scan picture in the database which can be used for printing the cards .
Did you offer a new photo at the POE to the officer ?
I guess you and me will get into trouble because of this photo thing . Looks like it takes months and months to get the cards for you and me .
lets hope things don't get worser than this .

I did contact the NY office , but they keep telling that they will crop the photo and that's how they do always

It's true that they hand over the copy without the foto to you. The copy with the photo will be retained by them and they'll use that to issue your PR card. Since NY Office has cropped the foto and issued you the Copr, you should not be in a big trouble. AM sure you are not the first one coming from NY Office. So, chill out. Unless, you are planning an immediate out of CAnada immediately after landing, you shouldn't worry much. Even if you plan to travel, you still have other options (travel card). Chill out and focus on other formalities

Hi Guys, has anyone landed in April received a photo re-submission request already? I landed April 08 and I can see that some guys who landed April 09 also start receiving their PR cards.

Anyone on the same boat?

Landed in Jan (Jan 12th), received photo re submission request in March (March 14th), resubmitted photo March 16th. Called CIC May 25th and was told card had just been mailed out and it is taking 10 weeks from resubmitted photo is received to PR card. I received Card on May 31st - About 10-11 weeks total

This is nuts! So it almost took you 2 and a half months to get your PR card after photo re submission. I think the reason it took longer in your case was because the timeline at that time was 72 to 78 calendar days. Now it has been reduced to 58 days so I am hoping to get it soon : :

Called CIC again and the agent was nice and opened my file. She said the have a new machine and that's the reason for resubmission requests. She said there is extra delay and told me my card is NOT ready yet. :'( (photos received April 25).

Thanks for the reply! My wife's photos were also received on April 25th. So we are in the same boat. Did she mention by when you can receive the pr card though? Or how long the delay is? I would appreciate if you update here once you receive your PR card. Thanks!

I resubmitted photos in April and they reached CIC office on April 21. Every time I call CIC they say they have no information about my PR card and that I need to wait.

It is just ridiculous. I mean they can make us wait till December and we do not have the right (or any other way) to find out about our own PR card.
