Also applied online for a new SIN last month (4 weeks so far) and haven't received it. If by Friday I don't get it, I will call them.
This is good news! In fact I just saw that and if I don't receive it via mail, I will go to a Service Canada in person.I guess some Service Canada centers are opening this week !
If its urgent for you i would suggest you to wait instead of applying online !
1-800-206-7218Could you please provide customer care number , i tried calling them the wait time is 1 hour and after that call was disconnected
This is not correct. I don't think IRCC prioritizing inland virtual CoPR holders PR card. I have received my virtual CoPR on May 28th and still waiting for PR card. Secondly, all the "virtual" CoPR are signed by an immigration officer. It can be used as a proof of PR for one year and can be used for any Canadian benefits. It can be used for SIN, OHIP, CCB. I am not sure what other things you have mentioned that virtual CoPR cannot do compared to normal CoPR.
I think, it is complete depend on VO. Whoever got PR card are from London, Kitchener. I didn't hear anyone received card from Ottawa/Edmonton/Montreal.
I Recently got COPR letter. Butm due to personal emergency, I came to my home country. Now, I would like to apply PRTD document. I go through the checklist of documents. But, I am not understanding about "meet the residency obligation". I believe this one is not for new PR applicants right??I just (on 7/1/2020) applied for PRTD via email. Fairly easy process. Cost $50 CAD. I'm living in the US. Hopefully will get approved soon. Will post when it's approved.
Hi,
AOR: 19th Sep 2019
Stream: CEC Inland
COPR : June 11 2020
I received COPR letter on June 11 2020. One year of validity it was mentioned on COPR letter. But, when I login in IRCC document expiry date is showing 2020/09/16. I did not understand what exactly the validity date of my COPR letter. Could you please help me on this?
ThanksNo need to worry, As we are all in-land applicant, the expiry date is just the system setting. I have already talked with the IRCC agent.
