Finally received the PR Cards today.

Timeline
Landed: Oct-18-2018 - Montreal YUL Photo Request: Dec-12 photo taken in Montreal
Photo sent: Dec-13 - I didn't track it but I suppose that it was delivered Dec-20
PR card approved: Feb-11
PR delivered: Feb-14 (in Montreal)

Congrats!! Great news! I was wondering when did you get the ghost update? Since it seems like it's normally 3-4 days after ghost update that folks are getting the approved msg. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyone who residing in BC has received PR card after the ghost update on 8th Feb.
There is news of heavy snowfall near Vancouver and I am wondering if that might cause a delay for PR card delivery in BC area.

Congrats!! Great news! I was wondering when did you get the ghost update? Since it seems like it's normally 3-4 days after ghost update that folks are getting the approved msg. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I was able to link my application on Feb 11th, the same day it was approved. So I don't know when was the ghost update. After the approval on Feb 11th, I received an email on Feb 12th stating the my application has been updated.

Some updates for folks who have got ghost updates post 8th Feb the below should be encouraging...

Timeline:
Landing: 2 Jan 2019
Ghost Update: 12th Feb 2019
Email response from IRCC from web form submitted: 15th Feb 2019

Below is the email -

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We verified the information on your file and are pleased to inform you that your Permanent Resident Card (PR card) has already been approved and sent for production. Once produced, it is generally mailed to you directly."

So I'm guessing that I'll get the card hopefully next week. Though on my online account i still see submitted. No msgs yet.

Thanks mate, I just signed in and it said your application as been updated, when I opened it said your application has been approved, didn't get any email so I guess you have to keep checking.. I'm in Saskatchewan, so might take a week to get my card..

Thanks mate, I just signed in and it said your application as been updated, when I opened it said your application has been approved, didn't get any email so I guess you have to keep checking.. I'm in Saskatchewan, so might take a week to get my card..

Just saw my status change to approved!! Ghost update was on 12th Feb 2019. So now just the wait for the card! Can anyone tell me by when will the card be delivered? I'm based in Toronto.
