I landed on 18 Sep and they received my photos on 23 Nov. Called CIC today just to know that there is no update in my file. People 15 days ahead of me have started getting approvals.

For re-submission, they will follow as per when photos were received. I don't think landing date matters in this case.

I guess it will take another couple of weeks to actually get it.

When I called CIC last week, they said they were processing photo requests sent during the first week of November and that mine should be processed soon. So I guess, they process it as per the photo requests sent date.

Glad to hear your update. Congratulation. I landed on 22nd Jan at Etobicoke but still not able to map my application. Could you please know after how many days you were able to map your application.

Sure. I have landed in Toronto in late Oct 17 and have received the card in the middle of December.
