PR cards applications approved - 19th Dec, 2017
Status of applications changed to "Approved" (above status being reflected) in myCIC account - 21st Dec, 2017
PR Cards Received via Canada Post in Brampton, ON - 2nd Jan, 2018

Congrats but mine is still nothing,Just stucked in being reviewed since December 16.Gonna call IRCC tomorrow to follow up.Today is 61 days already.

Landed as PR at the Etobicoke office December 11, application online says complete, when can I generally expect the PR card? I have a vacation planned during June, would I most likely have it before then? Thanks!

Photo resubmission request email on 30th October, 2017
Photos resubmitted on Nov 03, 2017.
Photos received by CIC on Nov 06, 2017 (as pre receiving shown on FEDEX website)
Application status on CIC website -- "Submitted".
There is no change in status from day 1 of the application (from 31st August 2017) ; ie. it still shows "the additional documents submitted by you is being reviewed".
I don't know what they are reviewing...!!!!

Hi everyone, I landed at Sarnia on Nov. 12 and I just got an email from CIC saying that they got my application of PR card on Dec. 29. Does anyone have the similar experience? It's so weird. Why they just got my application? I was expecting my PR card coming these two weeks cause it has already been 6 weeks since I landed. But I don't think I can get it now.....

Maybe cuz you landed in Sarnia. Landed on 13-11-2017. Our timelines are similar so let’s share our feedback. When did they say it would finish ?

I will... I am returning back to Toronto by Jan 2nd week... I knew there would be problems in getting the PR card... reading thru the posts here (which I really appreciate)...
hence applied for PRTD well in advance and will use the same to reenter... once there, I will keep following up with CIC...

Hi, what was your justification for PRTD? Been waiting very long and sensing a further delay or possible complication and the family is split for a month already. Let me know kindly.

Yes... My wife is actually there and doing her college... from Sep 2017... so I used it as an excuse...
But what I understand from others is that as long as you are applying for PRTD within the PR Obligation timelines, there wont be any issue in getting the PRTD.... what they want to see is that you have not exceeded the amount of months in the first 5 years that you can remain out of Canada.... Hope it helps...

Ok thanks. No we just landed on 13-11-17, so well inside the PR obligations. However I don’t have a just cause like a college enrollement but for work reasons I left as I didn’t complete work contract which I want to end by April 2018 to maximize my end of term indemnities and to better prepare for final exit from current resident country.
