He wasn't willing to even check as 61 days haven't passed yet.
I am travelling on December 11th and PRTD is the option if I did not receive my PR cards before that. However, looking at the pace at which people are receiving their cards, I am hopeful.

Can you postpone a week later. Seems october 15th got approved this week, so probably your application will be approved this week and will be receiving your card next week.

No I can't move my plans.
I will try asking someone to send me PR cards through Fedex.
It is a bit risky but worth a try as I PRTD approval time is 2 months in India.

Try to find if some one is travelling in next few days, so that they can bring and hand over to you instead they send by mail.

I am travelling on Jan 5 to India, but I am also waiting for my PR card :)
I am happy to help, my address is near to Downtown Toronto.

I did landing on 10th October. 8 days back my status in account changed to 'approved' but my friend (whose address I have given to get the PR card mailed to) says he has not received the card yet, any advice? should I be worried? My friend lives in Nova Scotia. Thanks.

We're in the same boat,landed oct-10th
28 nov approved ! Still waiting the cards.
