We're only 6 days apart but my card hasn't been mailed, which may indicate I need to send them replacement photos...

DO they inform (by email) when the card is sent by mail? Thanks.vzoo said:No one?
No, IRCC doesn't send any update regarding when they mailed your card. The only way to find out is to call them.mowgli1 said:DO they inform (by email) when the card is sent by mail? Thanks.
Please advise.
How do you know your card is being mailed? there is no "check process" page for PR cardvzoo said:Ah, I'm a bit worried now.

I called the agent that morning and was told the card hadn't been mailed or even minted...mf4361 said:How do you know your card is being mailed? there is no "check process" page for PR card

That's 51 Daysrd160309 said:I landed on 15th March and received my PR card today on 4th May. Almost within the average processing time of 45 days.
You do your landing with your CoPR paper (confirmation of permanent residence), which you'll get from IRCC when they approve your application. Only after the landing you'll get your PR card in the mail at the address you provide to the CBSA/IRCC officer that processed your landing.Anu222 said:Hi,
I am not sure if I sound stupid. Can please someone tell me how and why does one land before getting a PR card?
I have submitted my PR application yesterday and from what I understand a lot of people land in Canada before getting their card?
Thanks!
Oh alright. Thanks so much!vsoftco said:You do your landing with your CoPR paper (confirmation of permanent residence), which you'll get from IRCC when they approve your application. You'll get it when your application is approved, so expect around 6 months (assuming Express Entry) since the date you originally applied, according to IRCC.Anu222 said:Oh alright. Thanks so much!
How long does it take on an average to receive the CoPR paper?
