You can travel but you will need a PRTD(Permanent resident travel document) to return to Canada by air. Else you can use your CoPR to return by road.

So apparently my card has been mailed out today.

Any idea on the approx. time it would take from wherever its being sent from to Vancouver,B.C?

Btw, where exactly is it being sent from?

Its sent out from Sydney NS and I have seen it reaches to Vancouver in 4 business days.

I am on the same boat however dont know how much time the card takes to reach Ottawa. Hope for the best.

Here is our timeline:

Nomination Ontario: 2017-01-05
ITA: 2017-01-11
Application sent: 2017-01-20
Meds: upfront


We are living in Belgium, a VISA exempt country. Do you think we also need to send passports or can we just land with our COPR?
