Tourist Visa

Hi,

I want to enquire about the procedure for tourist visa for Canada and I am planning to apply for this in January 2021. I fall under the category of uniting with extended family members (please refer to the link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...avirus-covid19/visitors/immediate-family.html) as my fiance is a Canadian citizen and he stays in Canada.

I have the biometrics which is valid until 2030/02/18 and I am working on the authorization document. So, all I want to know is the procedure of the Canadian tourist visa during COVID times. Do I need to come to VFS or it will be done online?

Please also provide any other information which you think is suitable for my case.

As a fiancee you aren't guaranteed approval. Have you spent a lot of time dating in person? Lived together?

Also maybe check the processing time for your country given for some countries average quoted is 6-9 months. Visit visa are not really considered a high priority at this time and there needs to be an essential travel reason
