Tourist Visa

My daughter is hoping to spend 7months in Canada helping out at a Husky Kennels.
She would be entering Canada on a tourist visa, which I believe is only valid for 6 months but can be extended whilst in Canada.
However can anyone please confirm whether it will be OK to book the return flight for a 7 month stay or whether this would cause problems when entering the country.

I suggest you book an open-dated return flight. This case, she wont be paying for rebooking fee. Plus airline tickets may or may not be included in the documents you send for TRV application
