Tourist Visa refusal in Australia effect on Work & Holiday in Canada?

I'm currently on a Work & Holiday visa in Australia and wanted to go to Canada on the Work & Holiday program in a few months. I had tried to extend my visa in Australia by applying for a tourist visa which got refused because my reasons for an extended stay weren't exceptional enough. Now, I'm worried that this refusal will have an effect on my Work & Holiday application in Canada?
