tourist visa for parent with no savings

Hi, i have a question. we wanted to sponsor my mom to come visit here in canada. but the problem is she don't have savings coz we were the ones supporting them, she only have pension as she is already retired. pls help. dont know what to do and what to put on the question saying how much funds does she have to visit. thanks

If she has no savings, she should show proof of ownership of property, business or some assets. If not, it's very likely she will be refused. Also, you should not deposit a large amount of money into her bank account since that might also cause a refusal.

oh i see. the problem is the property is still under their parents name and have not subdivided yet to them so it is not under her name can she just show the land titles under their parents name and say that they have a part of it?
