Tourist Visa Application

I applied for a tourist visa on 2/09/2022. Completed Biometrics on 06/09/2022. I finally got a correspondent letter on 28/11/2022. My flight is on the 12th of December. I have not received a request for my passport to be submitted and my visa to be stamped. Do you think they can finalize my visa next week, one week before my flight? it is really tight and I have waited for 3 months for this. Based in Melbourne.

It's anyone's guess. Hard to say what will happen. The normal processing time expected right now is three months (and that's an estimate only) so you never really had any buffer. It might happen or it might not. Unfortunately you may have to change or cancel your plans.

Hi. If you are looking for an update, they asked me to submit my passport 7 days after the Biometrics validation letter (correspondence letter) is received. I just dropped off my passport at a VAC today. Wish me luck.
