I have almost collected all the documents required for my mom's visitor visa.

I have one question:

like does she need more funds in her account or the family asset statement by CA will do? :

She has already visited in 2011.

Today I have applied for my mom's visitor visa in Chandigarh.
They said it will take 1 week time to process.
Are they really that fast?
and also vfs fee got increased.........I have paid Rs. 7162 including visa fee.

I think there is no harm in it but you have to have a good reason for your visit + u need to show good wealth in your own country.

I have applied a visitor visa for my mom on 12-03-14
Got a msg tht passport has been dispatched 14-03-14
Received passport with 10 years visa on 15-03-14

Now, please share if anyone is travelling from New delhi to Winnipeg in mid April........
just to accompany my mom.

Got approved/passport request on Friday 28/03/14.
Have a flight on the 4th of April.
Question-
Can I travel and send my passport from my country <Nigeria> to Ottawa for stamping?
