Hello all
Here is the situation -
Me and the spouse are currently living and working in the USA on visa's which are due to expire in October..
We aim to be applying for PR in Canada by the end Of July (we will still be in the USA at this stage).. We know after we submit our PR application we will then have to wait up to 6 months and possibly even longer for it to be processed/approved..
Ideally we would like to come and visit Canada in October for a few months to check out certain cities and of course have a vacation at the same time..
What happens if while we are in Canada as tourists our PR application is approved?
Can the COPR letter be mailed to us if we are in Canada at the time the PR application is approved?
If we have to send our passports in for stamping can we do this while in Canada as tourists?
If we are already in Canada as tourists and PR gets approved do we have to leave the country and then re enter as Permanent residents?
Please help if anyone can!
