Tourism Visa Reject for Travel History

I have recently applied for a tourist visa to visit Canada with my brother(both in one file), Our request has been rejected due to "Travel History" and "Family Ties in Canada", both as a reason to this conclusion that "You won't leave Canada...etc" per the rejection letter.
My question is that we both travelled extensively to Europe, Asia, MiddleEast, etc.
We have no family in Canada and even for this trip, we have been invited by an old friend of ours. I am wondering if I should apply again and explain these facts(however I did explain in Client Information Section at the time of documents submission.) or not.
My second question is that if I want to apply again what I should include in my documents to strengthen my application? I have a couple of factories in my country and good assets which I did include them in my previous application plus invitation letter and notice of assessment from the hosts, Ticket Itenary, etc what else?

Sorry for replying late,

Emirate, Turkey, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherdam were countries that I traveled in past 7 years
and for the documents: Invitation letter, Notice of assessment and the citizenship card of persons who invited me. Our factories documents, apartments, cars, bank account, etc, as proof of our financial status.I was the main applicant and I did my brother's file under accompanying family member, we are partners in our work too and he has double travel history as mine.
other documents were all the requested one online, I also wrote a brief letter explaining that why I want to come to Canada, who I want to meet and where I want to go. I also included a Travel Itenary(Return Ticket). I have some obligations that I needed to come back to those such as people who I have to pay their wages and benefits, insurance payments, We are building a factory which needed me to supervise, two dogs that I need to take care of...I haven't mentioned about these obligations though since my financial documents were so much and I thought it get them bored to read about all these.

You need to apply separately first of all if your brother is not a minor. How long was your proposed vacation? Was your previous travel for leisure or for business? Were the funds you showed under a personal or a business account?

I asked for three weeks and the business in under both of our names. The financial documents were businesses that we own. Is not supposed to be? most of our travels were for leisure. I am not sure if I am better off applying for an Atip or apply again in separate files. what I should show as proof of the family ties that I would go back after my trip is over?( My parents are passed away but I still have brothers and sisters in my home country, two dogs, businesses to take care of , building that I am renovating now, the site we are preparing for our next business etc. Aren't these enough obligations as a proof that I would be back after my trip is over?
I have been told to put a return ticket but I can not purchase one before knowing where or even if I am travelling. There is no cancelation unless I pay huge penalty. I mentioned that I would stay in my friend's house again I have been told that it would be better renting a place. I would appreciate any more information you guys could give me since I am fairly new to these.
