I asked my lawyer this question and she said, you need to be in Canada until at least you get sponsor approval(stage 1) but after that, you can travel. She did not say you can go for months either, so I would not stay outside Canada for 6 months. That is a big risk and if CIC learns of it, they may deem you to be residing outside Canada and refuse your sponsorship application.

REALLYY??? i can't leave canada ? then how does immigration expect us to have more relationship proof if i cant even go see my husband omg...... :/ Does this mean i can't go visit ? i was with him past two months and i have plan on going back in few months.........
