Totally confused over my son's application for proof of citizenship.

I want to apply for proof of citizenship for my son. He is a UK passport holder, born in the UK to a Canadian father (Canadian citizen by birth).

I thought everything was straightforward but now I've seen on the CIC website that there are changes I have absolutely no idea what to do.

Can anyone shed some light please?

Sorry, Scylla, I never came back and thanked you for the information.

I have another question though; my son who is the applicant is 11 years old. The application asks for two pieces of personal ID. His parrpost is an easy one, but what else would count? Is a birth certificate ok? At his age he doesn't have credit cards or driver's licences and he doesn't have a health insurance card (not government issued anyway).
