Because nobody at CIC has updated it yet. I this it is not an automated process and that someone has to physically type the numbers in (which would also explain why occasionally the total number of applications does not match the totals of the individual NOCs).

Well not quite daily, but certainly almost daily.

Perhaps they are just waiting for 1122 to hit the 500 cap before the publish the figures?

hi friends my application reached on 12 aug n its received by mike at 2.19,so any 1 can tell me that is thr any realistic chance of my application will fall within the cap coz as there is no update from cicsince 10 aug with only 81 seats remaining.

Also there will be a lag since CIC are unlikely to open and perform the completeness check on the same day the application arrives.

So when they say 419 as of 10th August 2011 the actual total received on that day could be much higher.

I don't want to dishearten you but if your application reached on the 12th August if it's fair to say it will certainly be very tight as to whether you make it into the cap or not!

Of course we won't really work out the exact dates' applications when the cap was filled until people start reporting that their application has been returned because the cap is full.
