If your primary focus is income and career, then the US is an easy choice. I know many Canadians in the US who vowed to return if Donald Trump became president. He's been president for awhile now but they are still there. They say that the career opportunity and income is just too good to pass up (and can't be found in Canada) and they will tolerate a trump presidency for now. Anyway i knew they were not going to come back because seleval of them said the same thing about Bush in 2004 and never left.foodie69 said:

I was bombarded with questions like "why did you move? don't you make more money in the US and aren't taxes lower?".
