Dear forum members,

I am starting this thread for those people who haven't landed and have doubts where to stay for initial months in Canada or for those who have landed recently in Toronto and are struggling for job. I have come across with some posts on this forum that newly landed immigrants are struggling for survival jobs in Toronto. May be the reason is Over-saturation. So my humble advice is please look for other options. Alberta is doing good these days, one can easily find survival job here. Marketing, laborers and cashier jobs are available.

Choice is always yours,

Please comment and share your opinion, may be it would be beneficial for others.

:D, I agree with views of toronto2011.
Comparing the cities in other provinces the population is rapidly increasing in Greater Toronto Area.
According to Wikipedia :

Toronto is the provincial capital of Ontario and the largest city in Canada. It is located in Southern Ontario on the northwestern shore of Lake Ontario. With over 2.5 million residents, it is the fifth most populous city in North America. Its metropolitan area with over 5 million residents is the seventh largest urban region in North America. Toronto is at the heart of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and is part of a densely populated region in Southern Ontario known as the Golden Horseshoe, which is home to over 8.1 million residents—approximately 25% of Canada's population..........................

Hi all,

Also, the problem with Toronto is that everything is more expensive (housing, insurance, etc), so it's good to consider other options

Yes, true.
And the most opportunities lies where there are more people. More people, More demands, More business, More Work Opportunities.

Exactly. Let's land where our hearts feel like. That's right Qorax. You really are the captain. I am new here but have read lots of inspiring and helpful thoughts from you. :D

If the will of God has put us into it, no doubt that the grace of God will see us through it. God bless us people as we embark on our new journey to Canada... :)
