Here is my case,
I got my file no from CIC on March 03, 2014,
the CIC said they will be forwarding my application
to my Visa Office in this case my Visa office is Nairobi
Kenya. The thing is that, I still didn't receive my medical
Request. Do I need to expect my assessment notes and
Medical request from CIC or My Visa Office? And when do
You think I will receive those assessment notes and medical
Request? When???? please share me your experience and time line
or advice me what to do. Do I need to communicate with my
Visa office or CIC please let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will get MR from your visa office which is niroby. Not all visa office gives AOR, so relax and wait for your MR RPPF and passport request. Good luck.

what if we want to update details like job change/change in address so how to go about it when I have no idea if the VO have received the file? or it to be sent to CIC?

You have to send to your visa office with your file number which is you got from CIC.
