Hey guys, I started my program in winter 2021, I did 3 consecutive semesters. In winter 2022 I had some family issues back home around my finals. I was under a lot of stress and depression. It was very hard for me to deal with all that, work part time and smile through my studies. Initially I wanted to reduce my course load for 4th sem(winter 2022) I paid fees, but didn’t have access to registration. I reached out my times and gave up as registration time passed. Anyways long story short they replied late February and things were messy. I talked to my ISA and told her what happened how I was struggling mentally and just wanted to reduce course load. She informed me that part time studies will impact pgwp and can’t work. I didn’t know this until then, as I continued working part time. Listening to my sob story and miscommunication with school. She said since it’s too late it’s better to take an official leave and focus on my health first. I was advised to seek therapy but my brown self thought it’s not worth talking to a stranger about my feelings..
Moving on from the story, I continued my studies on summer 2022, took 3 more sems and completed my studies as scheduled on April 2023.
I got my official letter from her last week. She asked me to add doctors note and could make my case stronger.
I just don’t know how bad my case is. In my eyes it seems alright, cuz I abided by 95% of all conditions. People are just scaring me tbh and I’m nervous to apply.

so the questions I have is,
1) is my 1.5 months of part time until i realized the mistake anissue for pgwp, how will this affect it?
2) winter 2022 is considered a scheduled break for me, I have a letter from my International Student Advisor. Do I attach a LOE and the letter for my pgwp application? Or should I not mention anything as I completed my studies on time and full time??

I will take all advices:)

You would not know of outcomes until you apply - Go ahead and make your application

1. Attach a Letter of explanation & honestly describe everything

2. No harm mentioning

Good Luck
