fakenoob , Screening means the "files are been checked by the CIC officer".
As to my information once our files reached CIC through DHL or whatever service, Immediately after 2 weeks' time it reaches the CIO [Intake office] and a stamp is put on the cover page, this stamp certify that the file has to be reviewed by that date particular date.
For example if an applicant dispatches his or her file say 25th September, file reached CIC on 1st October, in two weeks' time its moved on to actual CIO office and they put a stamp [ & CAPS are updated at this stage]
