Hi,

I have applied online for my study permit for my masters at UBC. I have applied from India. I missed on attaching my TOEFL score report in the letter of explanation. TOEFL was not a mandatory document in the document checklist. Could this be a cause of concern or delay in my study permit application?

I would be interested in knowing this as well. I didn't attach my IELTS because quite simply, it wasn't asked for anywhere.

If your profile is decent and your letter of acceptance does not state a conditional admission condition of an English testing exam (TOEFL or IELTS) ie UBC has already accepted the TOEFL/IELTS test you have sent them, then it shouldn't be a problem.

But if there are other problems with your profile, like funds available to you is at borderline, or if you have poor English marks in your previous studies, then it might lead to a problem.

You can send them a Case Specific Enquiry, and attach your score card. Up to you.

Thanks for the response. I do have conditional offer with the condition of providing undergraduate transcripts and I have also attached the confirmation letter from the University official stayying that my admission is confirmed after they received my undergraduate transcript.

No where they state that they have/have not received the TOEFL score in that conditional offer letter. Would be great

Would be great if you can pass on your opinion if it is more prudent to put in case inquiry with the TOEFL score report.

Okay, you missed attaching the TOEFL report, but did you send it later via CSE ?

I have not. I wanted to know if it the best thing to do or if it would delay my application
