TOEFL equivalent to IELTS

Dear Everyone,

I have heard that we can also give TOEFL exam instead of IELTS and we have to make our TOEFL score equivalent to IELTS band score. Is it true?

Since there are no IELTS test dates available for the next 4 months in my country, I am searching for alternatives to IELTS to apply PR in Canada.

Please anyone who has a good knowledge on the above matter, share your opinions.

No - TOEFL is not accepted. Only IELTS and CELPIP.

TOEFL is not accepted if someone tells you that and you are in doubt always search in the CIC website for any changes of updates of information. But for the moment only IELTS and CELPIP are accepted.

You may take TOEFL if you are applying for schools (Universities or Colleges) - but for CIC immigration or other visas, only IELTS or CELPIP may be accepted.

Your option is to travel to another country to take IELTS if immigrating to Canada is that important for you OR just wait for the next available test
