consult chest specialst-report must include history of T.B treatement and drug schedule used - to rule out T.B

i never had T.B than how they can include history of T.B treatemnt and drug schedule used...? Plz reply

I received the medical furtherance letter from CHC asking my DMP to consult the Chest Specialist for Checking TB history and drug used for ruling out TB...........
So don't worry your DMP will refer you to a Chest Specialist and the chest specialist will check you in detail and can ask for further tests , in my case chest XRAY and sputum test........

Dont worry this because in your chest xray there would be a patch or something which is normally found in TB patients. Consule your DMP he will forward you to chest specialist who would carry out some test like spectum test i.e. your month saliva in collected in the morning to rule out active TB

today i went to my city chest specialist ( not DMP) and he took ma xray and saidi am fully fit no T.B but he said i had marks of nimonia from whcih i suffered in childhood

That's it nimonia patch in your x-ray, so they wanted to confirm that you do not have active TB as it is very contegious.

fmds today i went to my DMP he refrrd me to chest speclst after one x-ray of mine.....after seeing my x-ray he said that he will not ask for suptum test first he would like to see my all x-rays so he will demand my old x-rays from medical officer......momi many people there were saying that suptum test result comes after 2months ..is it true...?

There are several tests regarding sputum. The one which i did is done for three consecutive days.......There are others like sputum culture test which takes two months. It's up to your chest specialist what he thinks suitable.........

I got a chest XRAY on 2nd of April and second one on 13th of April ...The chest specialist compared the two along with the sputum tests and wrote his report.............
