hi everyone! let me share the joys i have to be officially canadian..as i took my oath today in EMS building, the ceremony went well, at first we have to surrender our pr card then arranged our docs in order , signed a pper that will certify u took the oath today and somebody will escort u to ur own designated seats. citizenship judge Springate was our judge and i must commend him for a very heartfelt introductions and speech abt being a canadian. everyone was so emotional, u can feel the happiness , hope and pride of being a canadian. the people around and the EMS personnel was so welcoming and very supportive. then finally we sang o canada with pride! My adivse to u dear peeps, dont put too much attention in waiting, expect 25 months in processing and once u are there to take ur oath.. u will say.. its worth the wait! and btw, everyone was wearing their best suits except for 1 chinese family( no offense meant) heard their conversations in chinese.. but for us.. we have to be in our best it only mean one thing.. we respect the day we became canadian. goodluck everyone and hang in there.. as i've said.. its worth the wait!

thank you all! ok, abt the interview, its very easy, they will jst ask u if u have any problem or did u have any problem with the police or immigration officer, how's life in canada, did u get out of the country and what do u do for a living. thats it , some infos abt urself. and take note for family applicant, you will have to answer individually, nobody can speak for every family members. EMS building or emergency medical services toronto is located in dufferin st. toronto. Oath taking is once in a lifetime experience, make the most if it, give ur best shot and wear ur best suit, dress up for the occasions, dont go there wearing ur jeans and and not to be presentable, not necessarily to buy expensive clothes , a formal attire wont hurt ur pocket, lots of cheap formal attire in wallmart.. the priviledge of being canadian will continue until eternity to ur family and relatives. not everyone can go to canada and be a canadian. respect the day that u will be canadian. show some respect and love to the country that will give brighter future to our families that is why we chose canada to be our home bec we believe in canada. I dnt know abt u people , but for me I thank GOD for yesterday and I thank GOD for this country. I am proud to be canadian!
