Even I appiled at VFS DElhi on 16 Nov 2016.
On 10 Jan 2017 I got a call from visa office ,advising me to submit medical proof, tuition feee recepit and deferral letter from univ.I submitted those on 18 Jan ,thru e-mail (as told). After that , no response from their end, till date.Also I submitted the hard copies of the same at VFS office on 30 Jan 2017. Have you received any call /e-mail from them yet?

Got rejection letter today. Rejected for "other" reasons. No idea why, provided all documents and new sop after initial rejection. Feeling very crushed

Sorry to hear that dear
Apply for CAIPS notes to better understand the reason of refusal. So you can apply again with more better SOP inculding solid answer to the reason of refusal.

Generally, It wont be a problem because it is progressing from UG to PG if proposed study is of same field/background.
