We read through thousands of your posts to different threads and did not find a single person that said they showed a flight ticket only.

So, let me ask you again - What made you say they only showed plane tickets?

Better yet, I’ll make my question specific and simpler for you – What made you think TJVY will show his return ticket only?

As international student, you can request for an official letter from the registrar confirming your enrolment with the school. That is if your school does that. Some school make this available on the website or portal. After this, you will write a letter of invitation, stating when, why, where they will be staying/accommodation arrangement. Who will be responsible for their living expenses while in Canada. And many more reasons. Just like a citizen or PR holder will do. You will attach clear copy of your valid study permit to be submitted along with the application. It is better to go for family visitor in their case than tourism. The chances is high. Especially, if they are the one responsible for your finance in Canada.

Hi i saw your reply i also want ro apply visit visa along with the family as my son is a international student in canada , currently he is in canada , so per your above suggestion to someone else i should also apply family visit or tourist ? As your post is almost quite old can you pls advise if the same above requirement will be enough or should any new changes occurred ? So i can get the docs and apply for visa .
