Hello ,

My husband and I had submitted the case specific form and had informed ircc about my pregnancy while our application was being processed but did not hear from them. Now 2 days ago, we received the request for our passports and it seems that the next step is COPR. The deadline to send our passports is 30 days from the date of letter. My baby is due in October and we wish to include the child in our existing application and travel together.

Also I do not wish to travel before the delivery to Canada.Too many factors to consider-getting a job, medical expenses etc. Also I do not wish to travel in my third trimester.

1.) How to inform the IRCC again of the change in situation and our desire to add the child to our PR application and travel post delivery? We have replied to CPC Ottawa through that mail. We have also submitted another case specific form to them. Is there any other way to get this information to them quickly?

2.) Should we send our passports right now or wait for their response?

3.) My husband has to travel to US for work for 15 days this month end so how would this whole thing of sending the passports work out?

1. Send you Passports now for COPR
2. After you have the baby, get his/her medicals, Birth Certificate and consequently Passport ready
3. Contact the Visa Office - submit your passports again
4. You would be required to pay 150 CAD (if I remember correctly) - upload the receipt
5. You should now receive an updated COPR

Hello Prats6,

Thanks for listing the necessary steps to be done, however, now that I finally have brought my child into this world, we would need little more on details from your experience. We see that in our application we are required to submit a document called 'Confirmation from your sponsor that they agree to add-on your dependant(s) (required)' by 24th Nov'17. We are not very sure of what is expected out of us because our initial application does not list any sponsor. Also, we are in process of initiating our daughter's passport application in a day or 2 (which needs to be submitted by 30th Nov'17). I am pretty sure we would not be able to get the passport in hand, can we instead submit the proof that we have applied for it or the passport interview is scheduled for a certain date in near future ?

I am under the impression that you would have gone something similar and hence reaching out to you for guidance.

Regards
