To select IELTS module

Hi friends,
My name is yogendran and working as a executive officer in small scale food industry for past one year..but earlier i was in teaching profession and had 3years experience..As I want to get PR at Canada,I have started my process and preparing for IELTS too. Now what should I prefer the module of IELTS.. Whether should I go for academic module or general training..I am seeking to enter at industries at Canada as well..so please clarify me for the option which I should proceed...

You can take any of these approved language tests:

  • CELPIP: Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program
    • you must take the CELPIP-General test
    • we don’t accept the General-LS test for Express Entry
  • IELTS: International English Language Testing System
    • you must take the General Training option
    • we don’t accept the Academic option for Express Entry
• French
• TEF: Test d’évaluation de français, including:
  • compréhension de l’écrit
  • compréhension de l’orale
  • expression écrite
  • expression orale

how did you understand that from what i said above? they have nothing to do with each other. this is a language text.
academic is for when you want to apply to be a student usually.
