Hi ,
I recently i landed into canada on closed work permit, but the employer not showed and not responded to my mails & phone. still i am waiting for his response. If my employer not responded or didn't gave the job this closed work permit is converted to open work permit ? is it possible and how much time to convert?

Did you get scammed? Did you pay for a job offer?

You cannot work for another employer with a closed work permit. If you cannot start to work, you should consider returning home.
It's REALLY hard to get a work permit in Canada since IRCC has tighten up their temporary residence permits (study, work...etc)

Find a new employer to work.
